Ayers Natural Bridge & Park

Meteor Shower Watch Party

Make your way over to Fort Fetterman to join fellow stargazers at the perfect place to watch the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks the night of Aug. 12 and into the next morning. The Perseid shower is one of the most dramatic because it produces bright meteors at a high hourly rate. Info: 307-358-9288.

Discover Our Wild Western History & Scenic Beauty
Welcome to Converse County, Wyoming! While you're here you can take some time to discover the area sites. In Douglas, you'll want to visit the historic downtown area where you can dine, shop and snap a photo with the jackalope statue in Jackalope Square. You can also stop by the visitors center to pick up a visitors guide or map. Glenrock has an amazing dinosaur museum, a historic hotel & dining room called the Hotel Higgins an expansive city park with a historic train bridge over the river. There is a lot more to explore too. We hope you enjoy your visit!
