Make Tracks for the Paleon Museum in Glenrock, Wyoming
The Paleon Museum in Glenrock is home to an amazing array of dinosaur bones and geological treasures. This small town gem of a museum should be at the top of your list as it will charm visitors of all ages. They offers guided museum tours with the affordable $5 admission fee. Kids 12 & under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
With a guide you will get to view the current public display, prep lab-where bones are being worked on, and the modern mammal display.
Open: Thursday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Dig School
For those true dino lovers you can arrange to go out and dig dinosaur bones with the Paleon Museum Dig Schools! This is an amazing opportunity to join other people from across the country to spend time at a dinosaur dig site in the field. Instruction is provided by Paleontologists and museum staff. You can choose from short one or two day digs to spend a week in the field excaving fossils and dino bones!
