Mingle & Jingle Downtown Douglas

Get into the holiday spirit at Main Street Douglas' annual Mingle & Jingle community Christmas party! Join us downtown for a festive celebration featuring a Christmas parade, the lighting of Jackalope Square, cozy fire pits, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa. Enjoy music, caroling, and The Polar Express Christmas at the Depot. Bring the family for a fun scavenger hunt while you shop, dine, and explore pop-up shops throughout downtown.

  • Christmas Decorating Contest – City-Wide Contest. Register online to participate. Decorations encouraged by Nov 29; judging starts Dec 4. Enter online for free – locations added to a community guide. Judging by A&C Culture Board (Jenna). Contest winner announced Dec 10; guide remains live until New Year’s. Fun traveling trophy for bragging rights.
  • Cookie Crawl – Dec 6 (paired with Depot Dec 6) – Lead MSD. Adjust from donated-cookie model to shared boxes for Depot attendees to collect downtown. Sign up with Jenna Rose at RRM.
  • Jackalope Junction Christmas Shop (Nov 29–Dec 23) – Location: Douglas Railroad Museum Lead: A&C Board (Jenna). Consignment Christmas Shop.

  • Large flower planters on Center St island can also be decorated. Contact Jen Goodwin or Jacey Bauman to adopt a pot!

Welcome to Converse County, Wyoming! While you're here you can take some time to discover the area sites. In Douglas, you'll want to visit the historic downtown area where you can dine, shop and snap a photo with the jackalope statue in Jackalope Square. You can also stop by the visitors center to pick up a visitors guide or map. Glenrock has an amazing dinosaur museum, a historic hotel & dining room called the Hotel Higgins an expansive city park with a historic train bridge over the river. There is a lot more to explore too. We hope you enjoy your visit!
