Scarecrows are popping up around Douglas! The full collection will be in place across town by October 18. Head out and take in all the fun fall creations! 🍁
Businesses & Non-Profits: Enter your scarecrow and join the fun! The public will vote, prizes will be awarded, and your creation will be displayed around town in Douglas, Wyoming.
Event Dates: October 18–28
Winners Announced: On or before Halloween 🎃
Judging Categories: Creativity & Originality, Use of Business Theme, and Eye-Catching Appeal — each scored up to 10 points for a total of 30!

Join us every month from May to September for an unforgettable experience of high-powered, nitro-fueled excitement. With up to 130 racers expected to compete, you're in for a treat as the most skilled drivers take to the quarter-mile in pursuit of glory.
This family-friendly event is packed with pulse-pounding action, adrenaline-fueled excitement, and non-stop fun. So, bring the whole gang, and come down to Central Wyoming for the most electrifying and entertaining racing event of the year!

Discover Our Wild Western History & Scenic Beauty
Welcome to Converse County, Wyoming! While you're here you can take some time to discover the area sites. In Douglas, you'll want to visit the historic downtown area where you can dine, shop and snap a photo with the jackalope statue in Jackalope Square. You can also stop by the visitors center to pick up a visitors guide or map. Glenrock has an amazing dinosaur museum, a historic hotel & dining room called the Hotel Higgins an expansive city park with a historic train bridge over the river. There is a lot more to explore too. We hope you enjoy your visit!
